This issue was diverted when I went into the file path editor to make sure texture nodes weren’t missing, or some were used. Pink objects meant that a texture was missing. We encountered a lot of issues with zync, such as pink objects within scenes rendered out and objects that simply weren’t supposed to be rendered but worked perfectly within maya. This has been extremely time consuming, however google zync has helped speed up this process. You can just keep Visible in Diffuse Reflection checked.īy unchecking Visible in Specular Reflection, the chrome materials reflect the sky again. One of my main jobs this semester has been rendering. Under Render Stats, uncheck everything that refers to Specular. Click on the little triangle next to Background (Legacy) to open the aiSky attributes window. So instead, go to Render Settings –> Arnold Renderer tab –> Environment accordion –> Background (Legacy) –> Create Sky Shader:Īt first, this really saturates the scene white, and specular objects no longer reflect the sky: But this will cause objects in the scene to reflect a greyscale sky. You might think that one way to hack this is to greyscale the blue sky and brighten it right up like below. (I suppose the sky image being quite dark isn’t helping neither.) This is because the diffuse is reflecting the blue sky. Even though the skydome image is one of day time, the render looks like it’s night time. ![]()
